Biography

Jamie Bradnam is the Director of Sporting Schools - Australia's largest school-based participation program. Joining the Australian Sports Commission at the establishment of the program in 2015, Jamie has overseen the digital evolution of the program which supports more Aussie kids to get active, more often. He has also worked on sports websites such as the Rugby World Cup, London Olympics and Paralympics and DP World Tour.

Pierre is a senior sports administrator who has spent 20+ years working in the government and not-for-profit sectors to increase participation in sport and physical activity. His relentless pursuit has been through a focus on improving physical literacy, driving inclusive sport practices, and advocating for population health and wellbeing. Pierre is a strategic thinker and an empowering leader. He has delivered multi-million-dollar national programs and events, led high performing teams that have developed world-best resources, and influenced physical activity policy across the sport, health and education sectors that resulted in projects of significant value and impact across multiple population groups and in multiple settings.

Local government sport and recreation perspective

Biography

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (Biology), a Masters of Business Administration and over 25 years’ experience in the Parks Leisure and Recreation Industry. He has held roles in state and local government and in large and small organisations, in fields ranging from sport, recreation and parks management. As the Manager of Recreation and Open Space Paul has been responsible for the oversight of Maribyrnong’s Recreation and Open Spaces with a team dedicated to ensuring the community flourish with opportunities to engage in activity in work class open space and parklands. Paul is the current past president of Parks and Leisure Australia, the industry body for the Parks and Leisure sector.
