Measuring and maximizing positive social impact Municipal sport and recreation facilities play a vital role in the development of safe, healthy, and just communities, yet it’s often proved challenging to quantify their true positive social impact over time. This session explores an emerging framework and methodology for social impact, developed to understand and increase a project’s potential to do lasting good in the communities they serve. This social impact framework will equip design teams and decision makers with practical tools to tackle some of the most wicked problems of our time: the climate crisis, poverty and inequality, mass migration, and growing mental and physical health epidemics
