Andrew brings over 20 years of leadership experience, guiding high-performing teams in infrastructure and public administration. As Deputy Director-General for the Sport and Recreation portfolio within the Queensland Government's Department of Tourism and Sport, he leads initiatives aligned with the government's strategic vision for sport and recreation.
Before his current role, Andrew spent six years at Economic Development Queensland, where he led property development projects statewide. With expertise in program management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement, he collaborates with industry bodies and government agencies to optimise investments and deliver tangible outcomes.
Andrew is dedicated to fostering positive workplace cultures and advocating for physical literacy, community-based sport, inclusive participation opportunities, pathways and high performance for all Queenslanders.

Tak is IAKS Japan Representative, and a Professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture, Dept. of Landscape Architecture. He is a registered Landscape Architect, and principal for Fd Landscape where he overseas Public Open Spaces and Urban Landscape Design. Major projects include Minamimachida Grandberry Park, Courtyard HIROO and Aobayama Park in City of Sendai. Prior to current position, he worked for Hargreaves Associates in San Francisco, GGN(Gustafson Guthrie Nichol) in Seattle, and Ramboll Studio Dreiseitl in Germany, and worked on numerous international projects in North America, Middle East, and Asia pacific. His publication includes ‘Creating Livable Cities’, ‘Green Infrastructure’ and ‘Landscape Architect working overseas’.
