Luke has extensive local government experience working for almost 20 years' in facility management and is currently playing a key role in the planning, development and delivery of priority community sport and active recreation infrastructure with Sport and Recreation Victoria as the Senior Project Manager, Precincts and Priority Projects. Luke is currently working in partnership with other key Victorian Government departments and agencies, Local Government Authorities, State Sporting Associations and community organisations to provide strategic and practical direction on the project management and delivery of the Fitzroy Gasworks Sports Centre. The sports centre’s innovative design is one of Australia’s first vertically constructed multi-purpose indoor court facilities which responds to the high demand for sports infrastructure in built-up inner-city areas where land is scarce and comes at a premium. The importance of delivering multi-purpose, affordable and best practice infrastructure for the facilitation of safe and inclusive sports programs is a key passion which Luke has dedicated his career to achieving.
