Biography

Fiona Caniglia is the Executive Director of Q Shelter, a peak body that has been working for 35 years with government, industry and the housing sector to improve housing outcomes for Queenslanders. Fiona is a qualified social worker with post graduate study and experience in social planning. She is passionate about bringing people together to find solutions to the complex problems facing vulnerable groups and individuals in our communities. Fiona and her team have made several submissions to State Parliament and Parliamentary Committees on the opportunity for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games to leave a positive social inclusion legacy for all Queensland residents.

Biography

Kim is a Director on the Board of the Australian Sports Foundation. She is passionate about the power of sport at all levels to build community, health, connection and a better world. She is an Olympic gold, silver and bronze medalist in rowing, former Chair of the Australian Olympic Committee Athletes’ Commission and Board Member for the Australian Olympic Committee. She has two kids who like kicking footballs and dancing. In her spare time outside of parenting, she is a Partner at EY and likes getting out on her bike.
