An economist by trade, Dean has extensive experience in the sport sector working with both sports and government. Prior to co-founding Kinetica, a data analytics and strategy business, Dean was Head of Strategy and Research at Tennis Australia. Dean is the architect of Aura, Kinetica’s local area data intelligence platform. Aura provides unique data and insights across hundreds of variables including participation and interest in sport and recreation, and health and wellbeing for circa 2,300 suburbs in Australia and 70,000 communities across the USA.

Karen has over 25 years’ experience in the social and market research field, starting in the private sector in the UK and then mainly in government after moving to Canberra in 1998. Karen joined the ASC Insights team in 2020 after holding positions in survey design, research, evaluation and customer experience in a range of diverse areas including national household surveys, immigration, population health and employment.

Embracing data to change the narrative

Chris currently leads Government Relations activities at Football Australia. As an athlete he is a double Olympian and multiple major’s medalist as well as coaching athletes to major games titles in athletics.
Since leaving competitive sport Chris has held roles in university research, commercial, consultancy, sports medicine, project/program management, and has extensive knowledge of government having held roles in sport, education and health.
Chris also attained an undergraduate BSc (Hons) Sports Science and Management degree, and MSc Management degree from Loughborough University, the Worlds No1 ranked sports University.
