Biography

Rob is a Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist, Director of the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre and Professor of Physical Activity and Health at Sheffield Hallam University. Rob has worked internationally to drive change across health systems and create the conditions that make it easier for individuals and communities to move more. Rob pioneered whole systems approaches to physical activity through the establishment of the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine in Sheffield - a legacy program of the London 2012 Olympics and remains committed to tackling health inequalities. Rob is happiest when riding his bike in the peak district.

Scott is currently managing the delivery of the Gold Coast Sport & Physical Activity Strategy 2022-2032. Scott has been involved in the sport & recreation industry for over 25 years in a variety of roles. He is passionate about optimising community benefit through delivering high quality sport and physical activity programs and sustainable community infrastructure. A self-described sports tragic, on weekends you will either see him attempting to still compete at some sort of sport or enjoying the envious Gold Coast lifestyle such as cycling along the Oceanway or just relaxing on Burleigh Hill watching the surfers catch a wave.

Biography

Jim is the Group Manager Play, Active Recreation and Sport at Sport New Zealand Ihi Aotearoa with responsibility for delivering the organisation’s strategy to activate children and young people. Prior to joining Sport NZ in 2014 he was CEO of Equestrian Sports NZ for seven years; previous roles include Executive Director of University Sport NZ and Head of Sport Programmes at the British Universities Sports Association. Jim lives in Wellington having emigrated to NZ from the UK in 2004.
