Madeleine is the Aussie founder of Urban Rec Sports Club is a premier adult recreational sports organization that operates in major cities across Australia. Over a 10+ year start-up, she has grown the club from nothing to over 60,000 members. The secret is making sport accessible to everyone and working hard to maintain the fun elements of playing sport. She is also, not so ironically… terrible at sports.

David has worked in the sport, leisure and wellness sectors in England and Australia for 23 years, in roles spanning Local Government, peak bodies, private sector and the social economy.
David is a systems leader operating from two platforms, as the Founder and CEO of Collective Leisure and Director of DB Consulting.
Collective Leisure is Australia’s first social enterprise leisure management company, certified by Social Traders. With a mission to reduce health inequity within our communities.
This is summarised in their purpose statement of “enabling well-being without boundaries”.
DB Consulting works with government and peak bodies in a policy, planning and strategic context.

Commencing in July 2018 at YMCA Victoria, Carolyn strategically oversees the organisation’s 150 locations across camps, recreation, pools, early education and childcare, youth services and community programs.
Carolyn was previously employed in executive roles for Bankwest and Camp Australia. Her industry experience spans community care and financial services sectors including aged care, not for profit, retail banking, auto finance, fleet services, credit cards, and insurance.
She has a passion for social justice and believes in inspiring teams to achieve the impossible.
