Biography

Nick has over 25 years’ experience working in the Aquatics and Recreation industries, and for the past 16 years has held a number of executive management positions. He has formal qualifications in Physical Education, Facility Management and Business Administration. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Director of BelgraviaPRO and member of the CEO Institute. Nick was the former Chief Operating Officer of YMCA Australia and General Manager with Maroondah City Council and in July 2014 he commenced in the role of CEO, Belgravia Leisure. As the CEO of Belgravia Leisure Nick has overseen the growth and development of the organisation with a values-based leadership style and a commitment to continuously improve organisational culture. Nick is involved in the day to day running of the business yet brings a particular expertise in understanding complex projects of scale, strategic thinking, and consistent partner relations.

Biography

John’s experience in the leisure industry spans across both the private and local government sectors. He is currently the inaugural CEO of South East Leisure, a newly established subsidiary company of City of Great Dandenong. Prior to South East Leisure, as Manager Leisure Centres at Brimbank City Council he played a major role in the design and planning for the Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre. John has experience with successfully establishing new facilities and has several industry awards to his name. More uniquely, in 2011-12 John cycled over 24,000km from London to Melbourne, raising funds to fight Child Trafficking.

Biography

Shane is the CEO of Aligned Leisure, a wholly-owned business of the Richmond Football Club. The Club uses its profile and reach to deliver on its purpose of connecting with communities, allowing them to thrive and win. He has worked in senior sports and leisure industry roles for over 25 years, including planning and management roles at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Shane holds an MBA from Victoria University and has completed executive-level education at Harvard University. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Life Saving Victoria.
