Darryl Condon is interested in design that acts as a catalyst for positive social change. As Managing Principal at Vancouver-based architecture and design studio, hcma, he has created engaging public spaces across Canada for more than 30 years, including community centres, libraries, swimming pools, ice arenas and high-performance sport facilities.
He has lectured extensively across North America, South America, Europe and Australia. Most recently, these talks have focused on designing for social impact, inclusion and accessibility, the future of community recreation, and the power of transformative architectural practice.
Darryl is a registered Architect, and a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. He is a Vice-President of the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities (IAKS), a Past-President of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia and an Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia’s School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture.

Alexia has had over 25 years' experience within the field of Leisure and Recreation. Alexia has gained her experience in local government (metro, rural and regional), private business, higher education and the not-for-profit sector. Highly regarded within the industry and seen as an innovative leader, Alexia has delivered business improvement programs in increasingly competitive environments.
Alexia is a multiple award winner receiving awards for centre management practices, business improvement programs, staff development and leadership. Alexia was made a Life Member of Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) in 2022 after serving on their board for 13 years.
With a passion for sustainability and the environment, Alexia has led the sustainability team at Belgravia since 2019. Alexia is currently completing her Master in Environment and Sustainability at Monash University.

Yaara has contributed to leadership in sustainability in education, residential, commercial and government projects on a national level, including Scotch College Wellbeing and Sport Centre, which is aiming to be the first LFI Core certified project in Australia.
Yaara is a South Australian local leader for all things regenerative not only for the Hames Sharley team but for consultants, contractors, clients, and the general public.
