Biography

Cameron is an accomplished sports industry executive with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as the General Manager of Participation at the Australian Sports Commission. In this role, Cameron is responsible for overseeing the organisation's efforts to increase sports participation throughout Australia, a mission that he is deeply committed to. Cameron's extensive background in the sports industry has included a variety of executive positions at the local, state, and national levels. He has developed a wealth of expertise in areas such as governance and system reform, participation program development and delivery, commercial partnerships, facility development, and workforce management. Cameron's knowledge and experience have been instrumental in driving positive change within the Australian sports system. As a volunteer coach for local sporting clubs, Cameron demonstrates his personal commitment to using sports as a vehicle for positive change. He understands the significant impact that sport can have on individuals and entire communities, and he is passionate about ensuring that the Australian sports system is well-positioned to meet the needs of all stakeholders in the future.

Impact of trends on sport at state and local level

Biography

Stuart Hodge is accomplished sports administrator with over 25 years of experience. Stuart is currently CEO of Sport NSW, the peak industry body for sport in the state. Previously he spent almost six years as CEO of Football NSW. He previously worked in senior media and marketing roles at the International Centre for Sport Security and the Aspire Zone Foundation, both based in Qatar. He also held roles at the Australian Jockey Club, the Beijing Organising Committee for the Olympic Games, Football Federation Australia, the Australian Rugby Union and Melbourne Storm. Stuart holds a Masters in International Sports Management.

Understanding megatrends to transform leadership in sport

Biography

Josh began his journey at the PGA of Australia and Golf Australia in January 2022, with a mission to maintain golf’s meteoric rise through the pandemic as General Manager of Public Affairs and Marketing. With varied experience across communications, digital content, partnerships, journalism and marketing across organisations such Cricket Australia, Fox Sports and sports marketing agency TLA, Josh is passionate about connecting people through the power of sport. Josh completed his Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Management & Marketing at the University of South Australia.
