As General Manager of Polytan Asia Pacific, Paul has direct experience in delivering sports facilities for events including 5 x Olympic Games, World Cups, Commonwealth Games and other international events. Paul’s passion lies in using these major sporting events as an opportunity to develop innovative and sustainable synthetic sports surfaces that help drive change in the sporting landscape at a grassroots level. Through this passion and his dedication, Paul is widely considered a global leader in the sports surfacing industry.

Biography

Craig has a diverse working history that started within technology & innovation solutions at Attorney Generals, ACT, through graduate cadet experience at Caltex Oil, and then onto 18 years of market, sales, and business process re-engineering at Carlton & United Breweries. An opportunity to assist as a GM at the State Chamber of Commerce resulted in learnings and insights into many businesses, and a record turnaround of the Chambers performance from practices trained, in and transferred across market segments -especially focusing on customer value. The opportunity to focus lighting, and Sports started in 2012. Smartlux was established in 2017, and has completed design -supply, and design-supply-installs across Local & State Government multi sports facilities, individual club renewals, indigenous remote community fields, and our first Stadium, to Australian & International Broadcast Lighting levels.
