Drew Mitchell is the Project Manager for the Active Schools Expert Support Service. ACHPER VICTORIA manages the implementation of this on behalf of the Department of Education. Drew leads a dynamic team of industry professionals’ hell bent on making a difference to the lives of Victorian students! Utilising his Exercise Science and research background, Drew has worked closely with schools and the education sector for close to 20 years and has a particular passion for taking traditional physical activity and reimagining it in ways that make it accessible for everyone.

Biography

Claire is a proud Yorta Yorta woman who believes in making a difference and being the change. She is the Executive Director for Asset Activations within the NSW Department of Education delivering on the $120 million election commitment to provide accessible Before and After School Care, as well as leases and licenses for uniform and canteens across NSW, in addition to delivering the $30 million election commitment to increase access to quality open space for residents of NSW through the Share Our Space program. Part of the Share our Space program is free activities conducted on Government School sites across NSW these are delivered in partnership with Office of Sport NSW, Sporting Codes across NSW, Regional NSW and Non-for Profits in NSW. Claire has over 21 years of experience in government across agencies such as Transport, Treasury and Education.

Biography

Adam Raw is a Director of Sport at Pymble Ladies College. Pymble sets the standard in girls’ school sport in Australia. Adam is responsible for the sport programs strategic direction and leadership of the College’s Heads of Sport, Head of Coaching and Performance, Head Coaches, Sports Coordinators, Strength & Conditioning specialists, and the Aquatic & Fitness Centre management team, along with overseeing an extensive team of casual sports coaches. Adam is an appointed sport committee board member for the International School Sport Federation (ISF). (ISF) is an international non-profit sport organisation, acting as the umbrella organisation and governing body for national school sport organisations around the world. Recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the ISF currently consists of 132 members over the five continents organising over 10 events per year and has more than 30 different sports included in its competition program.
